Born on the 03rd March 1982, Mr.Jayakumar gives the entire credit of his present attained position as the owner of an established videography company to his parents. While in the tenth standard during the two month vacation his father guided his way to the creation of the present company. In the year 1999, he was working only as an assistant in one of the companies but with sheer hard work and perseverance established himself successfully in the industry. Mr. Jayakumar thanks his Gurunadar for this. He completed his schooling and college successfully and started working on a part time basis. Then he got a job in the Kodak Company as a digital photography trainer, which was a very good opportunity for him. Here he was able to showcase his skills and expertise in photography by guiding hundreds of amateurs to the nuances of the trade and the photographic techniques; he even conducted workshops for the same. His innate inclination and exploring attitude towards photography helped him develop a keen interest and knowledge about it. He is now able to bring progress and development in hundreds of people’s lives because of the almighty’s blessings. The Kodak Company too has a major contribution in his path of development. Karishma’s album also initially started in Kodak only.
While in Kodak I got transferred but I didn’t like it wanted to do something which appealed to my mind and heart. On way lost into my thoughts I walked into a hotel Greenpark, where a wedding was taking place and instantly an idea stuck and got viral inside me to create a company for videography to cover anything and everything, such as weddings, engagements, parties and even corporate events.
Long back which started as a style has now transformed into candid photography just because of the firm foundation laid at that time. The name Impressstills was given to us by our esteemed clients as we created an impression on their minds and life by our expertise and efficiency in the profession. We added an impressive style and class to every occasion which got appreciation by each one and everyone.
We created a meaning for the word Impression by standing by it to make a lasting impression forever. Impressstills got its power by the people’s support and by getting the acclamation as Chennai’s best photography service award. Our mission while covering any wedding is to give importance to every aspect or event in the wedding and add value to the family temple by developing memorable pictures of unforgettable events. The involvement in the happenings adds to our progress and gives us a better understanding of the cultural values. We got nominated twice for best photography award for Kodak in the years 2010 and 2011. The success mantra of our organization is timely service, comforting relation with the client and punctuality in delivering the output which have been helping us to stand out as a successful organization for the last ten years.
I started work in this company alone initially, and then I involved some of the exceptional photographers from Chennai with me to continue the good work in my organization.We create different types of exclusive coverage in photography which does not cover only wedding but also industrial shoot, studio portraits, table top, modeling and the corporate sector. My hard work showed its true colors in Chennai. We started covering almost every VIP’s wedding and all exclusive events whether political or private parties. It was very honorable for our company from every aspect. We reached not only local places but even outside Chennai and overseas too. One of the famous courier industries in Singapore, Network couriers happened to be our valued client as we covered his personal and official functions and events very beautifully. We have been the masters of the trade for the last ten years and now we have almost regular hundred vendors and ten thousand customers. We serve customers from Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and France too apart from our regular customers in the country.
